    Description

Compressed air contains inherent impurities that are detrimental to the end application. Some common contaminants of compressed air are water, dirt, small wear particles, bacteria and sometimes even degraded lubricating oil. For increased reliability and energy savings, compressed air must be totally clean and dry.

For a compressor to function efficiently, it’s vital that its components are optimally tuned. If newly installed spare parts do not meet the manufacturer’s specifications, the result can be increased pressure inside the compressor – and therefore an increase in energy consumption and operational cost.
